My Favorite Song

There are times when a song hits the perfect chord with us. You are listening to it for the first time, but there seems to be some unknown reason why it feels close to your heart. I heard this song just few weeks ago. Its lyrics are little bit similar to the Tridev song “Gali Gali Mein”, but certainly better than it. Talat Mahmood might not be my favorite singer, but he is said one of the greatest Hindi singers. And after listening to this song and “Jalate Hai Jis Ke Liye” I have to admit that he was an awesome singer. I am still not able to find an mp3 of this song, though it is available on Youtube. There are 2 versions of the song. A sad solo song and the energetic duet which is the one I am referring here. Do search on youtube of this song and enjoy….

Itnaa na mujhse tu pyaar badhaa
ke main ek baadal aawaaraa
Kaise kisi kaa sahaaraa banoon
ke main khud beghar bechaaraa

Is liye tujhse main pyaar karoon
ke tu ek baadal aawaaraa
Janam janam se hoon saath tere
hai naam meraa jal ki dhaaraa

Itnaa na mujhse tu pyaar badhaa
ke main ek baadal aawaaraa
Janam janam se hoon saath tere
hai naam meraa jal ki dhaaraa

Mujhe ek jagah aaraam nahin
ruk jaanaa meraa kaam nahin
Mujhe ek jagah aaraam nahin
ruk jaanaa meraa kaam nahin
Meraa saath kahaan tak dogi tum
main desh videsh kaa banjaaraa

Itnaa na mujhse tu pyaar badhaa
ke main ek baadal aawaaraa
Kaise kisi kaa sahaaraa banoon
ke main khud beghar bechaaraa

Is liye tujhse main pyaar karoon
ke tu ek baadal aawaaraa
Janam janam se hoon saath tere
hai naam meraa jal ki dhaaraa

O neel gagan ke deewaane
tu pyaar na meraa pahchaane
O neel gagan ke deewaane
tu pyaar na meraa pahchaane
Main tab tak saath chaloon tere
Jab tak na kahe tu main haaraa

Is liye tujhse main pyaar karoon
ke tu ek baadal aawaaraa
Janam janam se hoon saath tere
hai naam meraa jal ki dhaaraa
Itna na mujhse tu pyaar badhaa
ke main ek baadal aawaaraa
Kaise kisi ka sahaaraa banoon
ke main khud beghar bechaaraa

Kyun pyaar mein tu naadaan bane
ik paagal ka armaan bane
Kyun pyaar mein tu naadaan bane
ik paagal kaa armaan bane
Ab laut ke jaana mushkil hai
maine chhod diya hai jag saara

Itnaa na mujhse tu pyaar badhaa
ke main ek baadal aawaaraa
Janam janam se hoon saath tere
hai naam meraa jal ki dhaaraa

My favorite Dialogue : Vegeta's Respect

I wanted to publish this since long time, but always postponed it, waiting for the right time. Well actually it is not a dialogue, since only one person is speaking.  This dialogue is from my favorite Cartoon serial DragonballZ and is spoken by my favorite character Vegeta . The scene is in the climax of the serial, in one of the final episodes. To give you an idea why I like it, let me give you some idea about DragonballZ . The characters Goku and Vegeta are one of the most important characters in the series. Goku, the protagonist, who is actually an alien from a planet called Vegeta and is one of the last of his race Saiyan . But unlike the Saiyans who are naturally aggressive, fight-loving, brutal, strongest warriors in the world, he is very calm, naive. He hates to be a Saiyan, when he realizes that he belongs to such a killing race. According to his blood line and roots on planet Vegeta, he is a third grade soldier in the Saiyan Army. On the contrary, Vegeta is the Prince o...

Natrang

I seriously don’t remember the last time I watched a Marathi movie in a theater, so according to my memory this was the first time I saw a Marathi Movie in a theater. And where?? The center point of recent controversy, Bharatmata, whose owners have been asked by NTC to vacate the place. Well, I will discuss that point in another post. Now, let us talk about the movie. I must admit it was a pleasure to watch Natrang in Bharatmata. The theater is located in central Mumbai near Lalbaug, which was dominated by Marathi mill workers in the yesteryears. Viraj had gone to PVR Lower Parel to buy the tickets. But since it would have cost us Rs. 150 each, I felt that it was too costly and asked Viraj to watch the movie in some other theater or on some other day. Since, Bharatmata was the nearest theater he decided to go there. I also left from home to join him. When I went there, there was a huge line for ticket. I didn’t tell Viraj but I had just 30 bucks in my wallet at that time, but what y...
