Life @ NITIE: Day 161

Today we had VP election in our college. Yash Agrawal from our section C won the election by close margin. This was the first time I encountered elections in college life. We used to have elections in school days but this was different. It was difficult for me to decide. All the candidates had more or less same agenda and were able enough to carry out the job of VP. I had to make a choice between 2 friends of mine and it was difficult to do so. Last few days I realized what is to be a true manager and a key decision maker.

I congratulate Yash for his victory and wish him best luck for his tenure as a VP.

My favorite Dialogue : Vegeta's Respect

I wanted to publish this since long time, but always postponed it, waiting for the right time. Well actually it is not a dialogue, since only one person is speaking. This dialogue is from my favorite Cartoon serial DragonballZ and is spoken by my favorite character Vegeta . The scene is in the climax of the serial, in one of the final episodes. I seriously don’t remember the last time I watched a Marathi movie in a theater, so according to my memory this was the first time I saw a Marathi Movie in a theater. And where?? The center point of recent controversy, Bharatmata, whose owners have been asked by NTC to vacate the place. Well, I will discuss that point in another post. Now, let us talk about the movie. I must admit it was a pleasure to watch Natrang in Bharatmata. The theater is located in central Mumbai near Lalbaug, which was dominated by Marathi mill workers in the yesteryears. Viraj had gone to PVR Lower Parel to buy the tickets. But since it would have cost us Rs. 150 each, I felt that it was too costly and asked Viraj to watch the movie in some other theater or on some other day.
