Naruto Uzomaki is Here...

Its been almost 3 months since I have started watching "Naruto". I must say I have been really impressed by this animation series. My brother and I had decided to cancel Cartoon Networks subscription, since we had stopped watching it. But then on that day, in the morning I saw Naruto's AD. I thought, well, this is the show which made Divin, who hardly watched Cartoons in the past, go through the episodes in a great hurry. Even Ratna would spend half of her bandwidth for downloading the episodes. It was about time, I watch it too.

Mind it, I have been watching cartoons for so many years. The best one has been DragonBallZ. It used to be fun to watch DBZ in my 12th on saturday night 2 back to back episodes at 12 oclock. But then cartoon network never showed the episodes after episode 52 until last year. My interest slowly died away with time. I really loved that show but the show became more and more violent and monotonous. I doubt if Naruto doesnt follwo the same pattern but I want to enjoy whatever I can before it also strays from main track.

So whats this Naruto? Its a story of a boy who is rejected by all people in his village and wants to become the best Ninja in the world so that those same people will notice him some day. What I like about the series is development each of the characters. The best thing is none of the characters are completely flawless. Even the main characters Naruto is flawed. Hey dont misunderstand that the story is flawed. I am talking about the characters. No one is always correct, and so is every character in Naruto.

Next thing in Naruto which intrigues me is its story. Every time you think that a particular attack is impossible to tackle and in few episodes you are proved wrong. I still remember how I was surprised when Zabuza counters Kakashi's Sharingan. Its ultimate. I am going to tell you more about this serial, its story and its characters. Wait and read.

Welcome to the Naruto fan club !

I would suggest 'One Piece' as well..personally, I like One Piece more than Naruto.

One Piece is about a team of pirates each with his/her own dream. The theme of the story involves importance of friendship/team work, never giving up and "don't worry,be happy".

Marathi Manoos

I read the following article in Mint yesterday. http://www.livemint.com/Articles/2010/02/19213129/The-Thackerays8217-primitiv.html I was shocked by the bias shown by the author against the Marathis. I completely agreed with him when he talks about Sena. Both Shivsena and MNS have done more damage to Marathis than they have helped. Their methods have been of violence and oppression. May it be Shiv Sena’s reaction to racists attacks in Australia or the MNIK controversy, common man is the one who usually suffers. But the author then checks the list of 30 companies in BSE and 50 in NSE, to prove that there are no Marathi person “owning” a company and goes on to say - “ The Mumbai Marathi, better at renaming things than building something himself”. Then he says - If we observe Marathi society we notice the total absence of mercantile castes. Into this space the British imported the multi-religious trading community of Surat—Vohra, Khoja, Luhana, Memon, Jain, Parsi and Vaniya. The...
