Kojagiri Pournima

Yesterday there was Kojagiri Pournima and I was thinking of various songs related to "Chand". The latest one which I have heard is ....

Aaeey chand ja kahin chhup ja..
aaeey chaand ja kahin chhup ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam ab aaa ja
aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja..
aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja

Aankhon se jall woh barse
mann main jo aag lagaye
aaaaaaa
rakh banaye tann ko
rooh ko jo tarpaye
beqadar tu ab aa ja ..
main ne dil ka khola darwaza
aur rastoon main deep jalaye
beqadar tu ab aa ja ..
main ne dil ka khola darwaza
aur rastoon main deep jalaye
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
aaey chaand ja kahin chhup ja..
aaey chaand ja kahin chhup ja

Purwa chalay kuch aisi
khushbu teri ho jaisie
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
sham dhallay kuch aise
palkain jhukaye tu jaise
tu rooh main youn samai
mehfil hui yeh tanhai
aur gungunanay laga tann mann
tu rooh main youn samai
mehfil hui yeh tanhai
aur gungunanay laga tann mann
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja

Aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja
aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
dil humara hua besahara isse chhor ke tu ab naaa ja
hui sham, main ne dil ko tham, liya tera naam
ab aaa ja
aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja
aaey chand ja kahin chhup ja

My favorite Dialogue : Vegeta's Respect

I wanted to publish this since long time, but always postponed it, waiting for the right time. Well actually it is not a dialogue, since only one person is speaking.  This dialogue is from my favorite Cartoon serial DragonballZ and is spoken by my favorite character Vegeta . The scene is in the climax of the serial, in one of the final episodes. To give you an idea why I like it, let me give you some idea about DragonballZ . The characters Goku and Vegeta are one of the most important characters in the series. Goku, the protagonist, who is actually an alien from a planet called Vegeta and is one of the last of his race Saiyan . But unlike the Saiyans who are naturally aggressive, fight-loving, brutal, strongest warriors in the world, he is very calm, naive. He hates to be a Saiyan, when he realizes that he belongs to such a killing race. According to his blood line and roots on planet Vegeta, he is a third grade soldier in the Saiyan Army. On the contrary, Vegeta is the Prince o...

Natrang

I seriously don’t remember the last time I watched a Marathi movie in a theater, so according to my memory this was the first time I saw a Marathi Movie in a theater. And where?? The center point of recent controversy, Bharatmata, whose owners have been asked by NTC to vacate the place. Well, I will discuss that point in another post. Now, let us talk about the movie. I must admit it was a pleasure to watch Natrang in Bharatmata. The theater is located in central Mumbai near Lalbaug, which was dominated by Marathi mill workers in the yesteryears. Viraj had gone to PVR Lower Parel to buy the tickets. But since it would have cost us Rs. 150 each, I felt that it was too costly and asked Viraj to watch the movie in some other theater or on some other day. Since, Bharatmata was the nearest theater he decided to go there. I also left from home to join him. When I went there, there was a huge line for ticket. I didn’t tell Viraj but I had just 30 bucks in my wallet at that time, but what y...
