School Days

This incident happened during my SSC. I think it was our first semester exam and as usual the first 25 odd boys were in the same class. As I remember Varun used to sit next to Swapnil during that exam. Baraskar Sir was the invigilator for the exam. Also, one more fact, we had 2 girls in our class with the same name “Swati Mane”(I know Viraj must be saying, Shivaji and Pundalik ;)). So we were writing paper, and as usual Varun wanted to know answer of some question from Swapnil. I guess since Swapnil was trying to show the answer but was also afraid Baraskar Sir who was also our class teacher for SSC might catch him. So Varun had to lean backwards a little to read answer. My favorite Dialogue : Vegeta's Respect

I wanted to publish this since long time, but always postponed it, waiting for the right time. Well actually it is not a dialogue, since only one person is speaking.  This dialogue is from my favorite Cartoon serial DragonballZ and is spoken by my favorite character Vegeta . Natrang

I seriously don’t remember the last time I watched a Marathi movie in a theater, so according to my memory this was the first time I saw a Marathi Movie in a theater. And where?? The center point of recent controversy, Bharatmata, whose owners have been asked by NTC to vacate the place. Well, I will discuss that point in another post. Now, let us talk about the movie. I must admit it was a pleasure to watch Natrang in Bharatmata. The theater is located in central Mumbai near Lalbaug, which was dominated by Marathi mill workers in the yesteryears. Viraj had gone to PVR Lower Parel to buy the tickets. But since it would have cost us Rs. 150 each, I felt that it was too costly and asked Viraj to watch the movie in some other theater or on some other day. Since, Bharatmata was the nearest theater he decided to go there. I also left from home to join him. When I went there, there was a huge line for ticket.
