End of Daily SMS era

Today marks the end of daily morning SMS era of Susmit Mogarkar as he gears up for his MS trip. I guess we all loved his SMSs and my inbox will revert back to the non-incrementing mode of pre-Susmit era Winking smile Here is Susmit’s last morning SMS -

 

Its easy to pretend a smile

but hard to hold the tears…

Its easy to say I don’t miss you

but hard to accept it…

Its easy to say Good Bye

but hard to say don’t go please…

Its easy to propose a girl

but very difficult to judge her silence after that…

Its easy to allow to be someone as part of your life

but difficult to remove them later…

My favorite Dialogue : Vegeta's Respect

I wanted to publish this since long time, but always postponed it, waiting for the right time. Well actually it is not a dialogue, since only one person is speaking.  This dialogue is from my favorite Cartoon serial DragonballZ and is spoken by my favorite character Vegeta . The scene is in the climax of the serial, in one of the final episodes. To give you an idea why I like it, let me give you some idea about DragonballZ . Natrang

I seriously don’t remember the last time I watched a Marathi movie in a theater, so according to my memory this was the first time I saw a Marathi Movie in a theater. And where?? The center point of recent controversy, Bharatmata, whose owners have been asked by NTC to vacate the place. Well, I will discuss that point in another post. Now, let us talk about the movie. I must admit it was a pleasure to watch Natrang in Bharatmata. The theater is located in central Mumbai near Lalbaug, which was dominated by Marathi mill workers in the yesteryears. Viraj had gone to PVR Lower Parel to buy the tickets. But since it would have cost us Rs. 150 each, I felt that it was too costly and asked Viraj to watch the movie in some other theater or on some other day. Since, Bharatmata was the nearest theater he decided to go there. I also left from home to join him. When I went there, there was a huge line for ticket.
